Data sources

Where the data comes from

We compile company data from publicly accessible sources: business directories (pkt.pl, Panorama Firm), Overture Maps, OpenStreetMap and public registers and professional lists such as the register of healthcare providers (RPWDL), the register of schools (RSPO) and the list of advocates. For other EU countries we compile data on request.

Methodology
Business directories

Name, address, phone, email and website that companies publish themselves in the pkt.pl and Panorama Firm directories.

Map data: Overture Maps and OpenStreetMap

Names and addresses of business locations and – where provided – phone numbers, email addresses and websites under open licences (OpenStreetMap: ODbL, Overture Maps: CDLA Permissive 2.0).

Public registers and lists

Registers of healthcare providers (RPWDL) and schools (RSPO), the list of advocates and other public professional registers.

Official statistics

Statistics Poland (GUS) figures by voivodeship and industry and Eurostat figures only indicate market size; they contain no data on individual companies.

Other EU countries

For other EU countries we compile data on request from the sources available in that country.

What you get

What an export contains

Company identity

Company name, legal form, NIP, REGON and KRS numbers, address, voivodeship and county – where the source provides them.

Public contact data

Phone, general email address and website from business directories and company websites. Not every record has every field.

Stated limits

We name sources and data status. A phone number or email address does not guarantee reachability, and the data includes no marketing consent.

Selection and format

Select by industry (currently based on the source category; a PKD code only where the source provides one), voivodeship, county and available contact fields. Delivered as CSV, Excel (XLSX) or JSON – one-off, no subscription.

Contact database

A business contact database: what it contains and what it does not

For us, a contact database is a list of companies, sole traders and institutions for which we found a phone number, e-mail address or website in public sources. It is not a database of private individuals and not a list for bulk mailing. Of the 1,668,969 records in our own Polish database (as of 2 November 2026), 1,107,552 have a phone number, 827,148 an e-mail address and 839,164 a website.

We take NIP tax numbers, REGON numbers and KRS numbers from the sources wherever they are given, which lets you match records to your own CRM. The contacts are meant for postal mail, planning sales visits and completing your own records, not for sending offers without the recipient's consent. The sample file shows the file layout and the database status page has the full figures.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

We compile company data from publicly accessible sources: business directories (pkt.pl, Panorama Firm), Overture Maps, OpenStreetMap and public registers and professional lists such as the register of healthcare providers (RPWDL), the register of schools (RSPO) and the list of advocates. For other EU countries we compile data on request. Details: data sources and methodology.

Yes – we prepare company lists for all 16 voivodeships. A list is not a copy of a register: it contains companies found in public sources. The REGON register lists 4,599,771 entities declaring business activity (Statistics Poland, as of 30 June 2026) – the size of the market across Poland, not the number of records in our database. One of our sources is our own database: 1,668,969 companies (as of 2 November 2026). We always give the number of records matching your criteria for the specific enquiry. GUS figures for every voivodeship and industry are on the voivodeship pages, e.g. Silesian or Masovian; full list: company data by voivodeship.

An export of a whole industry costs from PLN 969 to PLN 1,959 – the price of each of the 15 industries is on the pricing page and the industry page. Selections by voivodeship, county or contact fields are quoted on request, and we confirm the number of records for each enquiry. Data for other EU countries is also quoted individually – see company data from other EU countries. All prices are final prices.

Not without consent. Since 10 November 2024, Article 398 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law prohibits using phones, email and other end devices to send commercial information, including direct marketing, without the prior consent of the subscriber or end user; the provision does not distinguish between consumers and businesses. Our exports do not include such consent. Use the data for postal mail (which Article 398 does not list; GDPR still applies to individuals), preparing sales visits, CRM enrichment and market analysis.

Data about legal entities is not personal data. Data about sole traders and named contact persons is, and we process it on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Information under Art. 14 GDPR and the right to object are published on the pages GDPR information and Objection. As a buyer, you are responsible for your own use of the data.

We publish the status of our own database (as of 2 November 2026) on the database status page; GUS figures on the industry and voivodeship pages are as of 30 June 2026. We do not guarantee a fixed update interval for all sources or that every contact is current; scope and data status are confirmed before each order.
